The Devil of Old Town (1966) (original title: O Diabo de Vila Velha) is a Brazilian western film directed by José Mojica Marins, Ody Fraga, and Armando de Miranda[1][2].
Plot[]
A mysterious gunman arrives in a village and joins a group called The Gang of the Devil; He sets himself up as their leader and controls the town through fear. During election time, the Gang intimidate all who would oppose their leader, and provoke the opposition of the local priest. The population, however, is eager for political change and, aided by the police, attempt to fight the villain.
